Lost or Damaged Bags
If your bag does not arrive on your flight, please complete a baggage claim with the airport gate agent, by calling 1-888-345-0444 or email us at customerservice@palairlines.ca
We will trace your bag and once found will arrange for delivery (except excess baggage which is held for pick-up.)
If you have necessary, out of pocket expenses due to a delayed bag we will compensate you for those reasonable amounts.
If your bag has not been found with-in 21 days, we will pay you the value of the bag up to the maximum liability.
For damaged bags we suggest that you file a report with PAL Airlines representative immediately.
A passenger must file a claim for expenses with the airline. For damaged baggage, the claim must be submitted within 7 days after the passenger receives the baggage. For potentially lost baggage, the claim must be submitted within 21 days after it was supposed to arrive.
PAL Airline’s maximum liability for lost, delayed or damaged baggage is now $2400.00 CAD per person, per incident. Passengers may be entitled to this compensation in the event baggage has been lost or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
