Youth Travel Policy
A passenger between the ages of 12 and 17 who is travelling alone is classified for travel as a Young Person. At the PAL Airlines check in counter the agent will ask the young person if they are comfortable travelling on their own or if they need special assistance. If their parent or guardian wishes, PAL Airlines will consider them an Unaccompanied Minor, subject to the rules set out in that section. Otherwise, the Young Person will be assisted to the aircraft and upon arrival until they meet their party. A parent or guardian may escort them to the security area.
Where a weather advisory has been issued for their destination, a Young Person can only be accepted for travel with PAL Airlines IF the parent or guardian can provide a name and phone number of someone who is available to take responsibility for them at the alternate landing station.
